Jason Held Jason Held
Thermal, Human Factors, Attitude Control, Safety, EPS, Team Leader

Jason Held is an Army Captain in Space Command, and has deployed all over the world to support military space missions. He was a lead instructor at the Interservice Space Fundamentals Course teaching satellite design theory, propulsion theory, and orbital dynamics. Educated as a computer engineer, Jason worked hardware-software integration on the Wide Field Camera 3 portion of the Hubble Space Telescope, as well as biomedical engineering projects. He is starting a masters degree in Aerosapace Engineering and Mechatronics at the University of Sydney in Australia, with interests in orbital mechanics and cooperative robotics.

Dominic Florin Dominic Florin
Mission Design, Propulsion

Dominic Florin has a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Controls and Dynamics from Utah State University and is now working as a Software engineer at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. His previous experience was at the Space Dynamics Laboratory where he worked on the USU Sat, a 12.5kg satellite, where he researched and built a prototype for a 3-axis control system. He was a flight software engineer for the Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC 3) portion of the Hubble Space Telescope, and is now working on “Orbital Express”, a demonstration of on-orbit robotic servicing.

Adam Thodey Adam Thodey
Propellant Production & Storage, Mars Base Coodination

Adam Thodey has Masters Degrees in Space Systems and Applied Remote Sensing/GIS Engineering, and is currently a Ground System and Test engineer at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. His wide array of project experiences also includes the Hubble Space Telescope and Deep Impact (which will study the interior of a comet). He is currently providing ground system development and support for a Jet Propulsion Laboratory Test Telemetry and Command system (TTACS).

Chuck Bradley Chuck Bradley
Cabling, Human Factors, Fluid Flows & streamlining, Operations
