What is Team Enterprise?
Team Enterprise is a small research and development team designing an Earth Return Vehicle
(ERV) for the
Mars Society Kepler Design Contest. Team Enterprise currently consists of seven explorer-engineers
brought together by a common passion for space exploration.
Why go to Mars?
There are many reasons why we should go to Mars. The knowledge we would gain, the immense scientific
and engineering challenges it presents, the inspiration it would give to our youth, the opportunity
to unify the world in a common goal, and the chance to create life on another world are some of the
best. But perhaps most importantly, we should consider our future as a race. With world population
expected to double within the next century, and the ever-present threat of global disaster (natural
or manmade), a Martian outpost could become more than just a exotic destination-- it could become
